Sharon mccoy george, MD

Sharon has been practicing medicine for over 25 years.   Because she has a heart for doctors that are overwhelmed and burnt-out, she holds space for you to breathe and reconnect with yourself.   Sharon is a mother, a gardener, and a family doctor.  She teaches at UC Davis Health in Sacramento and lives with her husband in Napa Valley.

milo - therapy dog

Milo is a wise, elderly, miniature golden doodle, always accepting of pets and cuddles.  One participant at a Heart & Soul retreat called him a guru.  We don't think she was far off.

Cedar and Siena - The Ocicat KItties

The twins are newest members of the household. They are a study in mindfulness. (FYI…The casita is a cat-free zone.)

The land

We moved to Napa in 2017 and looked for the right place for physician retreats.  We found 5 acres with beautiful old California oaks and lots of potential for gardens, a labyrinth, meditation & reflection vistas, as well as welcoming gathering spots.  We are enjoying developing the land and love sharing it with our guests.

The indoor space is a modern home designed for retreats with separate entrances for 4 guest rooms plus a casita that has two additional guest rooms.

Early 2018, we had almost a mile of hiking trails bulldozed into the hillside to make walking the land very enjoyable.  We love how it opened up the Oak and Bay Forests for exploring.

You will find an inviting hot tub to watch the stars and listen for the hooting owls.  Enjoy sunrise yoga on the Sun Salute Patio.  Relax by the outdoor fire pits.
